Two stock car races that have been part of the Illinois State Fair for years will be run on the weekend before the 2027 fair.
Track Enterprises announced on Tuesday that the Bettenhausen 100 and the Allen Crowe Memorial 100 will move to August 7 and 8 on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
Promoters said the move will give the events their own weekend, which will allow an expanded schedule and the return of infield camping.
Tickets will be sold through Track Enterprises, the Illinois State Fair box office and Ticketmaster.
