The Morgan County Health Department has confirmed the county’s first mosquito sample with West Nile virus of the year.
The sample was taken on Wednesday in Jacksonville.
The department said most people infected with the virus will not show symptoms, but some may experience fever, nausea and muscle aches or more severe symptoms.
