The price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Illinois has gone back over $4 a gallon.
According to AAA the average price for a gallon of gas in Illinois stands at $4.06. That is up from $3.97 last week.
In Sangamon County specifically the average price for a gallon of gas stands at $3.95 a gallon which is up from $3.78 a gallon last week.
The national average stands at $3.85 a gallon.
