Illinois State Police released dash cam video from a fatal collision in April between one of its squads and a pedestrian in Springfield.
ISP said 45-year-old Charles Henderson of Springfield was wearing dark clothing while bent down in the roadway on Sixth Street near Linton Avenue at about 2:30 am on April 25th when the squad struck him.
Henderson later died at an area hospital. Troopers said they had earlier told Henderson to stay out of the road.
