IDOT is reopening construction lanes where possible for the 4th of July holiday weekend.
Starting Thursday and running through midnight Sunday night lanes that have been closed for construction will reopen to minimize travel disruption.
In Sangamon County however, the lane closures on Southbound I-55 at Williamsville will continue.
