The average price of gasoline in the Springfield area has leveled in the past week, although it is about 70 cents higher than a month ago according to AAA.
Today’s average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Springfield is $4.86, down three cents from last week.
The average local price one month ago was $4.15. One year ago the average was $3.26.
