A 22-year-old Springfield man has been charged after a fatal crash early Sunday morning at 11th and Madison streets.
Ethan Harbour is charged with aggravated driving under the influence.
Springfield Police told Newschannel 20 that Harbour ran a red light at high speed and struck another vehicle.
Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon said one of Harbour’s passengers, 21-year-old Sean Clark of Athens, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger in Harbour’s vehicle and the person in the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Harbour is in the Sangamon County Jail.
