A Springfield man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for the shooting death of a man from Stonington last year.
Justin Pickrell is now 24. He pleaded guilty in Sangamon County on Wednesday.
Pickrell was charged with shooting 19-year-old Camren White in the 800 block of West Lenox Avenue in Springfield in April 2025. Pickrell was arrested a week after the shooting.
Sentencing is scheduled for November 6. He remains in the Sangamon County Jail.
