Visitors to Illinois spent a record $50 billion in 2025 according to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
The agency reported 115 million domestic and international visitors to the state last year, an increase from 2024.
Data from Tourism Economics showed visitor spending grew 3.5 percent over the year.
Total economic impact was $88 billion with $4.9 billion in direct state and local tax revenue.
