A group supporting a local state park is raising funds to replace trees damaged by recent storms.
Friends of Lincoln Trail Homestead State Park and Memorial say storms felled 40 trees at the park west of Decatur and damaged many more.
The organization hopes to raise $5,000 to purchase 50 young trees.
