The Illinois Secretary of State’s Springfield Flagship Center on Dirksen Parkway now houses a permanent office of the Illinois Department of Revenue to handle vehicle tax payments.
Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias said addition of the IDOR office will allow vehicle owners to take care of title, registration and vehicle tax matters in one visit.
The Springfield location is the second IDOR satellite office at a Secretary of State facility. A similar office opened earlier this year in Chicago.
