A 54 year-old man from Saybrook was killed in a two vehicle head on crash near Lincoln.
The crash happened on U.S. Route 66 near 1500th Avenue according to the Illinois State Police.
The Logan County Coroner’s Office said the man was taken to Lincoln Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room.
The other driver was taken to an area hospital. Their condition has not been released.
The coroner’s office and Illinois State Police are investigating.
