An 18-year-old boy in Rochester was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries late Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Rochester Police Department, they, along with the Sangamon County Sheriff’s office found the teen with a gunshot wound after responding to a medical emergency call in the 200 block of North Oak Street.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
