Investigation into an April 24th shooting in the Laketown neighborhood of Springfield has resulted in the arrest of two Springfield men.
The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office reported on Wednesdays that 20-year-old Christopher Dibello was arrested on Friday and 19-year-old Darrian Stephenson was arrested on Monday.
Both are charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a firearm identification.
Investigators found bullet holes in two residences and one vehicle and numerous shell casings after a report of shots fired in the 3200 block of Normandy Drive. No injuries were reported.
