The president of Springfield Memorial Hospital is leaving the position at the end of the week.
A memo obtained by the State Journal-Register confirmed that Jay Roszhart was leaving “to pursue other opportunities outside Memorial Health.”
Roszhart was named the hospital’s president on July 1, 2024 after serving as president of Memorial Health Ambulatory Group.
He began his career at Memorial in 2009.
Memorial Health Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Drew Early will oversee hospital operations during the transition.
