Salvi Out as Chair of Illinois Republican Party

Despite having the job for less than 2 years Kathy Salvi has been voted out as the Chair of the Illinois Republican Party.

In a brief statement the party acknowledged that Bob Grogan was elected on Monday to replace Salvi, who had been on the job since July 2024.

Grogan is a former DuPage County Auditor and accountant as well as a resident of the Chicago suburb of Downers Grove.
